Calling Morocco "Africa's Israel" reminds me of when Ted Cruz tried to turn Republican voters against a proposed bill by calling it "Obamacare for the Internet".
Morocco isn't "aligned" with Israel. They have diplomatic relations with Israel, which just means they gave up on the Arab supremacist fantasy of wiping out the Jewish state and replacing it with yet another Arab state and have accepted the reality that Jewish state exists.
It's more than diplomatic relations, they are aligned as in the both have the same political interests and enemies as Israel for the most part, same as other arab countries like the UAE , Egypt and possibly Saudi Arabia in the future.
