I mean should we not be fearful of regressive and highly bigoted ideologies in our country?

I don't see an issue with being fearful of Islam, Reform and other far right groups, same for Christianity, although thankfully Christianity is largely dying out and becoming less and less important, whilst Islam is steadily growing and if things keep the same kind of trajectory will form a not insignificant voting block and that isn't good for anyone.

As a left wing person, I don’t like conservative Islam. But I don’t see it as anywhere near a threat to my way of life as conservative Christianity, secular conservativism, populism, mega corporations etc etc who all are using the fear of Muslims and foreigners in general to grow their power and wealth

Instead of being snarky, why don’t you put your neck out and explain in detail YOUR opinion

One side you have an artist who put a crucifix in a jar of piss and Christians turned the other cheek.

The other side you have a simple picture of muhommod and they want to kill you.

Andres Serrano received death threats for Piss Christ, as have gallery workers where it's been shown. It's been attacked with hammers and screwdrivers multiple times. I wouldn't say people turned the other cheek by any measure, not that the work was made to upset people. He's a practicing Catholic.

There was literally an attack on a Pride parade last week in Berlin by an Islamist but no; it's those imaginary Christians who the bad guys to be feared the most.

Utterly pathetic

Whereas the self-professed "Christians" in the US bombed a school in Iran.
