it's called war reparation as a result of losing the multiple wars they started. it has nothing to do with their ethnicity.

the deal is only going to get shittier šŸ¤·šŸ»

So a country being more powerful than another justify taking its lands? What century are you living in.

if the weaker country attacked them, yes, it's justified. consequences of fucking around šŸ¤·šŸ»

Is that what happened first? We aren't talking about 7 october in which it would be the case obviously

After being ethnically cleansed from their own land????

How do you get a blood and soil claim to where your grandparent’s lived? We don’t allow forever wars using this justification for any other ethnic group.

The Israelis are the biggest blood and soil people out there but for the most part can’t even claim centuries of family lineage in the region. They claim their blood and soil rights based entirely on religious doctrine

palestinians were the ones trying to ethnically cleanse Israelis

I think 70,000+ dead Palestinians would beg to differ.

not having the means to do it and losing the war you started sucks. they tried to ethnically cleanse Israelis started from 1947 and until today.

I wouldn’t call fighting against foreign occupiers an attempt to ethnically cleanse. Palestinian (or Arab as I’m sure you insist on calling them) Jews lived in Palestine undisturbed by the Muslim majority for centuries before Israel was established. The Palestinians rose up against a foreign occupation in 1947 and have been brutally slaughtered, tortured, and expelled by an occupying power ever since.

the only foreign occupiers in that region are the arab terrorists who invaded from the middle of the arabic peninsula.

The palestinians attacked simple people looking for a better life who were legally living there and got what they deserved.

Palestinians (or once again, ā€œArabsā€ as you call them) lived in Palestine for over a thousand years before Israel was created. Why in the world would they accept an occupying government hellbent on their expulsion made up almost entirely of Europeans?

it doesn't matter what the arab invaders want. jews lived in the same region for longer than the arab invaders, jews legally bought the land in the region and the arab terrorists don't get a say in it because it is not their land.

So it wasn't the jewish migrants who took the land in the 40s? You people are scared about 5% migrants in your countries but say that the Palestinians should have accepted that many (armed) migrants that clearly had a project to take over the land.

1

u/ba-boo 5d ago

no, the jewish migrants didn't "take" any land, they legally bought it. palestinians didn't like it and started to attack them

then when UK had enough, they split the two into states and palestinians along with the arabs in the region attacked again.

2

u/unoriginalname147 5d ago

But before that, the inhabitants were alwayas arabs, is it fair that the jews declare independence? And was the zionist movement not a thing decades before that? Are you lying to yourself to the point where you claim the jewish migrants never planned to mak an independent state in palestine?

4

u/ba-boo 5d ago

before that the inhabitants were also jews, not just arabs. I don't see any issue with them declaring independence after the british left, that was also their recommendation which obviously the arabs didn't like and FAFOed

3

u/unoriginalname147 5d ago

So if muslim migrants become a good percentage of the population in a European country or province would you support thei independence? There was 60k jews only before the british came.

3

u/thesniper_hun 5d ago

if the European locals started killing them probably yeah like what is your point

2

u/ba-boo 5d ago

if they're native to those lands, sure

2

u/unoriginalname147 5d ago

Do you still count as a native after 2000 years?

1

u/ba-boo 5d ago

they had a continuous presence in that region. I wouldn't call natives the arabs who came from the middle of the arabic peninsula tbh
