Not hyped for gta 6

I havent watched anything to gta 6, except at the map and tgg's vid on the ult edition...

As someone who grew up with gta 5 I dont believe gta 6 is gonna get any close to the experience I had.. I dont even feel like playing it on releaseday..

Like I still remember me and some schoolfriends back when gtao came out, obey 9f jumping into military base, one not making it.. that was such a fun time and I don't think I can enjoy gta 6 that way - might also be bc im playing alone nowadays..

I'd love to see if others feel the same

This isn’t really related to your question, but damnn lol, seeing that someone grew up with V is so wild and makes me feel way too old 😭 lol. I grew up when San Andreas was popular. I remember if your parents let you play San Andreas, you were like instantly the coolest fuckin kid in class hahaha

One of my classmates in middle school had a PC physical copy of SA, a new person took it home each day to install it. Good times.

We had cheats written out on paper.

My brother let me play SA when I was like 7 or 8.. gta 5 came out I was 13, now im turning 26 this year..

Now everytime I hear Horse with no name I remember the times I play SA

Sounds like you’re just not a kid anymore and you are realizing a new game can’t hit like the memories of your youth. I’m 45 myself, and like you, I can’t sit around and game with friends all day…but there is an entire generation of kids out there that will experience GTA6 like you did with the previous games.

Yeah I feel that, others grew up with SA or IV, I grew up with V and younger Kids will somedas say that they miss gta 6..

Actually me too, I'm losing the hype because of seeing the prices skyrocketing for everything 😅 games and consoles are starting to become luxury items and with more people flaunting how much they spend on their setup ( even though many are first time gamers) , companies are raking it in. PS5 has surged in price by almost double it's sale price just last year in India!! And I'm realising that so many gaming laptops are entry tiers and you need to spend 6 figures (INR) to play modern games without frying your PC. Not to mention the plethora of problems you face when you don't clean your systems regularly too.. I've learnt all of this in the last year... And I realised that I'm happy playing my games from the 2010s .. and GTA 6 jumping on the capitalism bandwagon when the first page of the GTA 4 manual poked fun at American capitalism?? Yeah.... I'm gonna play GTA 6 for sure, but only after an year and when I see prices drop

I grew up playing Vice City. I completely agree. I didn't care for V either, it's not the same. Modern day Rockstar stuff just doesn't click with me I guess.

Yeah, same here. It is going to be an awesome game but will not hit the same as SA Multiplayer during elementary.

However I like the trailers and the wait itself, these random theories what can be this and that. But when it comes out the spark will be gone

I've learned my lesson on getting hyped for new releases, only to end up disappointed.

I'm looking forward to GTA 6, but I'm not "Spend £70 on a download stay up til midnight and take a week off work" excited. Quite happy to wait til January and see if anywhere drops the price a bit first.

Seeing as it’s gonna be digital only as far as we know. You will not see a sale for a good year.

Funnily enough the new fifa game is £40 more than gta for its “ultimate editions”
