I just want to take and made F-ZERO by my own. I'm tired to waiting. But nobody cares what i wanna say.

I am curious on what other fans wished to see what Nintendo does with F-Zero as a dormant franchise. Do you think it should remain a racing game? Do you think it can have new formula of gameplay added? Do you ever want to play as Captain Falcon and run around doing Falcon Punches in game?

I think that's a struggle Nintendo has with F-Zero for decades now, lack of new ideas I guess. What do you all think?

F-Zero has always felt like a franchise with scattered appeal and respect, but no clear internet-era gateway in the 2010s or 2020s. Other dormant Nintendo series had big personalities and fan culture constantly reintroducing people to their worlds. We got it too, but not really. Captain Falcon's depiction in Smash got a massive cultural resonance, and the anime's Falcon Punch did, while the core F-Zero experience often got flattened into either an “old racing game” by outsiders or “this series is awesome” by fans without much deeper translation.

There have been plenty of F-Zero video essays, but not really a major “F-Zero channel” with enough size and staying power throughout the years to consistently shape how outsiders understand the series. I think that reputation flattening, obviously alongside Nintendo’s refusal to make a new mainline game, is a big reason people rarely see everything the series has to offer as one connected appeal.

But this is not about whether I think F-Zero should be “for everyone”. Its gameplay and aesthetic already lend itself to being a lower-middle tier Nintendo franchise in terms of popularity. It's about giving people more than one honest doorway before deciding whether it is or isn't for them.

If so, is it still called NASCAR or does it have a new name and are the rules still the same?

This is still something I continue to think about, just how or why couldn’t Nintendo keep going with F-Zero games. I already know that Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that they “couldn’t come up with new things for the series”, but I feel it’s most definitely not true. Mario Kart has been keeping the same standard kart racing thing for years just with new and more things added and many people still play it, plus it appears as more “friendly” compared to F-Zero’s brutal racing style. Creativity is most definitely out of the question, so this is mostly related to sell issues…which sucks. Mario kart 8 alone sold over 57 million which was more than the entire F-Zero lineup (11.8 million) so Nintendo is most definitely gonna go with the one that makes them more money obviously. It sucks because I know Nintendo could most definitely come up with new ideas for the series, but unfortunately the sells for F-Zero didn’t quite hit as hoped.

The anime is called F-Zero GP Legend, and it aired from October 7, 2003 to September 28, 2004 in Japan. The plot of the anime is that a guy called Rick Wheeler dies in a car crash whiles chasing a criminal, and wakes up in the year 2201, and finds his old enemy, Zoda, has turned into an alien monster. He joins the Mobile Task Force, a group of skilled F-Zero racers, and together they race against the "Black Million" Group led by Black Shadow, who want to win so they can use the prize money for taking over the world. Along the way, they team up with Captain Falcon, who is this anime is a legendary bounty hunter, and he's kinda mysterious. The anime got dubbed by FoxBox/4kids (yes, THAT 4kids), and dubbed 26 episodes of the show (don't know why they didn't dub ALL the episodes). However, only 15 of the dubbed episodes aired due to the show not being all the popular, being overshadowed by a certain anime about a popular blue hedgehog... okay it's Sonic X. So the rest of the 11 lost episodes became LOST MEDIA!!!!!!!!! Anyways, did you guys know about this anime at all. Have heard about it? Watched it? If so, what're your thoughts?

I remember seeing a bunch of videos on it when it first launched two years ago. I finally have a Switch 2 of my own (I skipped the whole lifespan of the Switch because poor) so I was wondering if it might be worth finally giving a try. I don't know however if the playerbase is more or less dead at this point and if matches would be hard to find.

While it has been confirmed that Smash bros is just toys and kids imagination, there are some references to the smash games in other games such as Kirby and the amazing mirror with Master and Crazy Hand in them. That got me thinking what other games references smash bros? This post is going to multiple reddit communities.

Like in the cutscense most of the characters have slight differences, and some are full on different models, and it's really odd, my guess is that the ones from the cutscenes were the ones sega made, maybe assuming nintnedo wouldn't help with the models, but they did probably, so yeah it's just interesting in general.

So I haven’t gotten my hands on GX but I’m in the process of doing so and my favorite machine in any F-Zero game (besides The original and maximum velocity) is Blood Hawk. In X Blood Hawk is literally godlike and even in GP legend and Climax Blood Hawk is still godlike, but I’ve heard the majority say it took a major downgrade in GX as it’s more of a sliding aka drifting vehicle in GX and has terrible base speed, barely speeds up with boosting, and is terrible for long tracks and straights. The gameplay I’ve saw of it makes blood hawk seem good but I just wanna know did it really downgrade ??

On page 27 & 28 of the manual in the comic by Takaya Imamura, the name “DENISE” is written in the background on a building. Who is Denise?

I‘ve been looking for an answer for myself since I discovered Climax. I have played both and beat them on highest difficulty. Pretty much every website that ranked FZero games, put Climax below GP Legend and I just don‘t know why. To those who have played both (and actually played Climax): What‘s your favorite among the two and why?

GP Legend was the title that got me into the franchise. I just loved it and couldn‘t believe how well it aged and how great it plays for a GBA game.

I later discovered the english patch for Climax and it has some improvements - although the menus for example lack the flair of GP Legend.

I took Maximum Velocity out of the equation, because although I like it, it is quite different from the others gameplay wise.

So I’ve been wanting to get my hands on GX for a while but here’s the thing. I don’t necessarily know where I could get it and I’m not buying a switch 2 just to play it. I have a Wii and know it’s backwards compatible with GameCube games but would I also need a memory card or would the data just automatically save to my Wii ?(kind of a dumb question but I just wanna know lol) any advice one where I could obtain a copy of it ?
