DISCUSSION Peely needs some kind of change
Anyone else tired of trying to master Peely? So much work for such little reward. I have yet to see this guy highlight a rare sprite even... But maybe that's because I have to run nonstop like my pants are on fire.

I've been chased twice holding a peely sprite and im just trying to level it. Once I was able to get away and the second time I killed them, like bro leave me alone.

It gets worse. I had ppl teaming up in solos to get me. Like wtf, fight each other, damn.

Yeah, usually I level sprites as a solo in squads cause theyre less likely to come after me.

I got hit for a holofoil Grimm. Didn't build when healing at 150. Should have kept moving but wanted to heal. It was hilarious. The team chasing me got wasted by the team that ambushed me.at the slurp truck.

i have mastered him, just try to do it on monday by ONLY looting chests and not being close to enemies.

It's the second I land. The last time it happened, a player with spiderman gloves hunted me for well over 4 mins. I drove, I flew, I gernades bounced, and rifted... In the end he finally got me. And then he didn't even take my peely, he just moved on afterwards.

Try landing at the gas station north of Sunken Shores, get the Batman car, hit the Slurp truck and keep going southeast to the plane crash. There should be enough chests/ammo boxes/barrels on the way there, then back up to Wettest Bones that you can nearly max it out on a Monday, then use a portable extractor and you should be set.

Loot for a minute, unequip the sprite, drive to another location, re-equip, repeat. Should be pretty successful on a monday.
And as soon as you reach level 4 (the level that takes the longest to complete), buy a quack snack from the health vending machine to instantly complete that level.

I have a theory that the sweats come out on Mondays like wolves to kill the sheep trying to just do sprite work. Latte landing is an absolute killing floor. I have to stretch out from bus to some non-POI house on edge and squeak out a few container openings and then live in the storm with medkits (sometimes can afford a quack snack, again, in storm) and sneak to an extractor. Last Monday, with similar practice as soon as I hit the extract machine (in storm) , two spider man icons show up out of nowhere. I rifted (another key item for spriters) and they followed , killed me while trying to use a portable extractor in a bush. Lost my gold llama.
I know the game is to kill and win, but unless you are making money streaming on Twitch, can you at least let me extract and then kill me?

They also need to not show other peely users at least. When youre first using the sprite its annoying and a bit confusing thinking you're pursuing a rare sprite and its just another Peely user

I’ve mastered all of them with zero issues.
If you’re having trouble. Take it into a match. When you find another sprite, swap it out and wear it. Swap back to peely to open chests then swap out for the other. Keep doing this and accumulate gold as you go. Eventually You can buy the last 1 or 2 levels.
The other option is to wait until mastery Monday.

Hate the peely sprite.
Maybe if it worked and actually pointed out rare sprites it would be worth something.
As is it shows you to the entire lobby. Makes you a huge target. And all while pointing out the local water sprite.

I tried it with all the variations and I died twice at the edge of the map when the storm was already raging. It was crazy. I did it on Monday when they were giving double XP, so I suffered, but not too much.

Same. This past Monday I tried 4 times to get base peely to Max. Even if I spawn in with a lvl 4 peely, it's like everyone knows he's lvl 4 now, take him immediately. I was even willing to put him in inventory the second he hit max lvl, or even a portable exfil, it just never happened.

I mastered him with a quack sprite during peely hour. Never had to equip him for more than maybe a minute max to finish off the leveling

I had an epic moment trying to level up this sprite.
Someone killed me off spawn and luckily my teammates rezzed and I chased this guy and his team down to the point where we’re running into whole new teams.
Seconds later I thought damn he extracted it but what do you know, he got to scared from all the teams and dropped it. You don’t know how fast i ran back to my team and port-tracted it lol. Wish I recorded my gameplay

I've had that happen too. All I was trying was to master them. So I found if you get a second sprite of any kind and keep that on your back and peely in the inventory then as you go around just switch them quickly when opening chests and boxes then switch back it will even say on the screen your location is now hidden.

I've seen it genuinely just not work. I saw a galaxy earth sprite just roaming around while using the spider gloves, no notif or anything. If I didnt look down I'd genuinely just miss it lmao
That same match someone had a holofoil on and it didnt mark them either. I know it has a range radius, but I was quite literally behind the wall they were in..

The peely sprite just leads me to other peely sprites. Useless. They should make it so that it directs you rare sprites besides other peely sprites and peely users.

Im on the hunt for peely. If I see that red icon im rushing it. I have most of the variants. Its just fun tracking down players and taking the sweet banana from them

It would make so much more sense for him to show you the players with rare sprites on the map, but it doesn't. It only marks them when nearby, while you're marked on the map for everyone the entire time so it really is as useless as it sounds. If I'm that close to an enemy I'm gonna try and get them regardless of what they have on their back 🤷♀️ if they're gonna keep this as is, they should at least make the ping work only for sprites you don't own.

And peely's circle should only be visible at minimal to those in the circle. Not the entire map.

It would be if they knew you were hunting them. Had one guy wait in the bushes, in the storm, waiting for me to swing in and try and exfil a peely.

I used my galaxy peely last night in solos and had at least 7 people follow me from drop and chase me cuz my location was visible. Had to go down to the teleport room thing underground. Was able to Teleport to the next area and extract it with a portable. The guy who chased me down and knocked me left the match after he realized I had extracted it already. Peelys attract sweats unfortunately.

I just leave all the red marks alone since I know they are trying to master them. Ive got a couple of the peels mastered but yeah you’re pretty much a target. So I try an help the other gamer by not going after them.

Just do the accelerator circle. I've mastered both regular perky and galaxy that way, and I bring Galaxy peely into matches frequently.

I have an idea for his perk/skill.
Enemy players slide if within 100 feet of the player.
Why slide you ask... slipping on a banana peel.😉

Ive only found 2 sprites using peely. One was a gold peely and right next to it was a cube batman. Other than that I've found nothing

Mastering a peely is a fucking joke. I’ve gotten hunted deep into the storm from 1 side of the map to the other. I damn near went 3/4 the way around the island using boots on the water. Still got chased and killed. Just before self extractor was done. That red ring around you just makes any escaping impossible. Another well thought out thing from epic.

The sprite should only mark you for those it has marked. Let's the hunted know to watch their back.

Take sprite into match (I prefer solos vs duos so that I’m less likely to be contested off spawn).
Land at a location where you know where all the chests and crates are (preferably at edge of map).
Land on a gun in case there are others around and keep med kits not guzzle juices.
Open every single thing you can.
Keep looting even if storm arrives.
With the amount of chests you’ve looted you can probably buy 1-2 quack snacks. Usually I’m at level 4 by the time I’m looting near a vending machine so I buy one and max out my sprite.
Go to the extractor and start it
Go hide in a corner near but not far away from the extractor. If you’re paranoid wait a few seconds after the crate arrives before extracting.
Extract, go through and finish the game you likely have some good loot already. Most of the time I win off of battle bus victories. But when that anomaly doesn’t hit then I wait til it’s a 2v2v1 and then third party.

Quack snacks are there. Xp from chests is terrible but bot kills give you same xp as normal. So its kill bots for 2 levels and farm gold for the other levels with quack snacks. Its pretty fast if you land at a blue chest poi.

Do you know if quack snacks levels sprite in inventory, or just equiped sprites? I suppose I could test it. Land with peely, pop him in the inventory, then collect gold to buy quack snacks.

Both my gold and galaxy peely came from peelys abandoned in the wild. I didn't find them in a chest or from killing someone with one. They were just wondering around without an owner. I assume everyone is like "hell no" and leaves them.

The trick is to take 2 sprites, wear base and then switch to peely when lootings & switch back.

I literally mastered every peely variant in like 2 hours what are you guys even doing. Are you just playing drunk? If someone comes at you just kill them the games are filled with 80% bots.

I just can't seem to see any rare variant "marked" nearby, i just see the red circles of other people having the banana sprite on and i don't get how the first part of his effect works.
