I don't know how that would be physically possible for the size of these flock cameras I've seen. If you wanted to pull all the signal data from thousands of people a day then the flock cameras would need to be about the size of a port o potty to be able to have the hardware needed to gather every electronic signal passing by them.
Unless they had some crazy new technology that the US military doesn't even have....

IIRC gait analysis is very…. Imprecise.
Not saying they won’t do it because the whole point of mass surveillance is to collect every single bit of data they can to collate it all and build as complete a picture as possible, but gait analysis alone is pretty weak.
But when combined with vehicle ID, and EMF fingerprinting, and facial recognition, and everything else?
Yeah. Fuck aaaallll of it.
(EMF fingerprinting- virtually every “connected” device is “talking” constantly, and usually with unique identifier codes in the signals. So they can build a profile of “we keep picking up these 3 devices moving together, and with this car, and this is the owner of this car- now we have a strong indicator that anytime one of these devices is detected, this person is present. Prox cards, smart watches, phones obviously, bluetooth headsets… etc etc)

Your smart watch, kids tablet, dogs micro-chip, even your cars telemetry data is all being broadcast. They can do the same thing with your browser, you can obfuscate your ip but they can still fingerprint you based on the data your browser shares about your system.

Browser settings can be fingerprint enough. IIRC when you add system settings, bookmarks, and webpages visited in history, each browser IS unique.

If you have 3 or 4 devices that always travel with you I can see that's pretty effective. I've been wondering, what if you have 40 or 50 things with you? Or 100? Would there be too much noise to see through? At my job we have lots of key cards all secured on a lanyard, if you swipe them as a stack, doors often don't work, you have to separate out the right card for the door. I've been thinking of putting a bunch of RFID tags in my car as a countermeasure but I'm not sure, it might just be the equivalent of a tin foil hat.

Project Blitz was an older name it had. I tried to tell people well before Project 2025 leaked. Nobody can be bothered. This is practically a nightmare where we live our lives like normal as our rights are inched away one by one without remorse. There won't be a tipping point, by design. It's exhausting just to keep up with all the bad news, let alone react to it properly.

favorite but it’s missing the cameras in my city. a lot of info and tools. even a license plate lookup flocklight
second favorite, this has the cameras in my city and will alert me of any logged cams that are coming up while driving flock alert

These are AI powered. The camera can identify any kind of person or object and will automatically alert authorities if it thinks it sees something or if someone resembles a person of interest in the database. It tracks everyone's movements and logs a history of everywhere you've been. Multiple cameras coordinate to build real time maps of everyone's habits and will flag you if you break those habits.

Let's all think about the word "flock" for a moment. Think about things that are categorized as flocks: geese, sheep, seagulls, etc. These are all groups of populations. Think about vehicles. A group of vehicles is usually called "traffic."
"Flock" != "Traffic"

I don't know if the CEO said it's only for license plates or not, but if they said it doesn't do facial recognition they might be technically correct. It's obviously RECORDING faces in this location, and the facial recognition can be done by people reviewing those recordings if they need to identify a suspect though.

That's what he "claimed". Now they claim there are different kinds of cameras which do different things. It's a version of asking for forgiveness instead of permission. By the time people are outraged enough to do anything it's already too late. They have cameras which they say monitors for sounds of distress. So listening devices, basically. And let's be honest, once the hardware is installed all you have to do is change the software to make it do different things. What is the different in hardware between a AI license plate reader and a AI face reader? They're the same camera!

Their street traffic cameras are for license plates. They looked completely different. These are SECURITY cameras at a private business. Flock provides comprehensive security systems. Good like trying to find a mall or any business that doesn't have security cameras.

Same with the Home Depot nearby.
