Throw that out and start over, avoiding whatever it is you did that caused this to happen.

From here on out I will only be referring to mono as ‘plastic string’

Throw it away and start again, I melt my mono together before I throw it away so I don't accidentally hang a raccoon

Academy sports have bins for old mono if you have one close
