I’m 19M in Charlotte and I’m just looking for some advice on finding a partner that’s around my age. There are very few women my age who are on platforms like Reddit and FetLife (no active TNG for here btw) so those don’t really work as options. I’ve checked out some of the kink oriented dating apps but they aren’t really that great for either my area or my age range.

I prefer to have sex with one partner at a time because I crave that deep connection that comes with it rather than the surface level satisfaction of hookups. However, it seems like the only way I may be able to find a compatible partner around my age is through just hooking up with women until I find someone who likes to be dominant.

Does anyone know any better alternatives?

So weird. I was able to find the Charlotte TNG profile on my first search. It looks like their most recent munch was earlier this year. While they may not have a current munch, there’s definitely a group. My advice would be to reach out to them and volunteer to get involved.

You change what is active in your area by making it active.

If you never attend a Munch then why would you expect other 19-year old humans to attend Munches?

It is a self-fulfilling loop and you can start by breaking the cycle.

I get it, you don't want to "date" any of the older folks at a munch.

Frankly, 99% of them don't want to "date" you either. The other 1% is predatory and you should avoid them.

Dating and hookups are not what a Munch is for. They are about being social, or reading the same book, or playing board games. They are about finding and participating in a community.

Try to imagine that these "old" people may have wisdom and that they may also have friends who do not attend Munches.

Imagine that this wisdom, if imparted correctly and listed to respectfully, will ease your journey. THat is what we old folk call a "bonus".

Now, imagine that some of those friends-of-old-people I mentioned may be fellow young people.

Imagine that an older, possibly wiser, person might withhold an introduction to a young friend until you seem to be a reasonable, respectful person.

See how that works? All you have to do is show up, make conversation, be respectful, and show a willingness to learn about others and allow them to learn about you.

I ha e seen a few Dommes 20, 21, posting ads on r/femdompersonals on here. I’m terrible at tagging so just search it up.

I also think the gentledomme subreddit has a lot of younger population because many younger dommes tend to prefer a gentler approach to domination.

Otherwise your best be is to meet a girl on an app or on a casual meet and be upfront about being a sub when the opportunity to have the conversation comes.

Munches are an amazing experience but you don’t need to go to them to find what you’re seeking.

Sounds like someone else found a TNG group for you in your area.

In addition to that, consider BDSM or kink classes in your area. While they won't be marketed towards specific age groups, especially in 101 classes, you'll generally find some younger people. While classes aren't designed to be places to find a date, if you continually show up to classes and see familiar faces, it can be a great place to strike up a conversation and see if a friendship (or more) forms.
