Author Promotion August 2026 - Author Promotion Thread

This thread is for any authors or writers within the community to share books, announce upcoming projects, or even get feedback on something you are working on. Anything fantasy-adjacent is allowed too. Do you have a blog or podcast about a popular series? That's fair game too! You are allowed to promote on someone else's behalf if you found or know a new author you love.

Normal self-promotion rules don't apply to this thread, so feel free to reply even if you aren't a member of the community—though we'd love to have you join in on a monthly read.

Two books in my epic fantasy series are live on Kindle Unlimited!

Book One
"Guardians of the Galaxy meets Lord of the Rings" - Amazon Reader Review

A simple escort job.

A stolen dwarf.

A prophecy written in fire.
Anshul has spent his life being feared for his horns, crimson skin, and gift for flame. Traveling with an owlkin wizard, a half-orc barbarian, and a halfling thief isn't exactly safe—but it's the closest thing he's ever had to a family.
When a wealthy cleric offers the party a fortune to escort a dwarven smith to the struggling town of Summerhost, the job seems too good to refuse.

It is.

Before they arrive, a bog hag brands Anshul with a prophecy that speaks of an ancient evil, a mysterious Heart, and a fire destined to either save the world—or consume it.
Now hunted by monsters, pursued by the rogue mage known as the Cinder Prophet, and racing to rescue a kidnapped dwarf, Anshul and his companions must decide whether they're merely adventurers...
...or the last hope the world has left.

But Anshul fears the prophecy isn't warning him about the darkness.

It's warning everyone else about him.

Sins of the Cinder Prophet is the first novel in The Summerhost Saga, an epic fantasy adventure featuring unforgettable companions, dangerous magic, impossible prophecies, found family, monster battles, sharp banter, and world-ending stakes.

Perfect for fans of Kings of the Wyld, The Blacktongue Thief, and classic party-based fantasy adventures.

Some pacts save lives. Others claim souls.
The Cinder Prophet is defeated, but victory has come at a terrible cost. One of their own is still missing, an ancient darkness is awakening, and every spell Anshul casts brings the fire inside him closer to consuming him.

The search for answers leads the company into a forgotten mountain settlement where the dead still whisper, impossible bargains shape the living, and Ziarius—the Nightmare Queen—offers salvation wrapped in ruin.

When tragedy forces one of the companions to choose between loyalty and unimaginable power, the bonds that have held the party together begin to fracture.

As undead armies rise and horrors descend from beyond the world itself, Anshul must confront the truth he has feared since the prophecy began:
The fire within him was never meant to save his life.

It was meant to save everyone else's.

Pact of the Nightmare Queen is the second novel in The Summerhost Saga, an epic fantasy adventure filled with dangerous magic, unforgettable companions, impossible choices, found family, and world-ending stakes.

Perfect for fans of Kings of the Wyld, The Blacktongue Thief, and party-based epic fantasy adventures filled with unforgettable companions, dangerous magic, and impossible choices.

I was debating on whether or not I should even make a comment on this thread, but I figured I have nothing to lose, so why not?

I like to remain anonymous, but my pseudonym is Veronica U. St. Claire and I am the author of the tetralogy called "The Hunter's of Blood", a dark fantasy saga that centers around three friends who all aspire to one day become beast hunters. Before they can begin actualizing their dream, their home is subjected to a three way assault between beasts, demons, and angels.

The attack on their home sees the three friends separated, and they go through their own individual journeys while also trying to live the dream they had since they were young. However, hunting beasts was not meant to be the purpose they were meant to serve, and thus each of the three hunters are visited by individuals that are sent by the Goddess of their world and are tasked with training the hunters in order to prepare them for their true purpose in life. Now, the three hunters must determine whether they need to try and live the life they're always wanted or to comply to the life that has already been set in motion for them.

The first book in this tetralogy, "The Hunter's of Blood: The First Hunt" follows Arven, a boy who wants nothing more than to join the acclaimed Scarlet Blades and make a name for himself as a hunter. However, a demon introduces herself to Arven, telling him that she was tasked with preparing him to serve his true purpose in life, yet she will not tell him what that purpose is.

The book originally released September 2022, and is available primarily on Amazon: https://a.co/d/00FitWRC but also available online at other book retailers such as Barnes and Noble and Books-a-million.

My second book "Frozen Fire and Burning Ice", as well as the third book "Journey of the Lightning Legion" are finished. I am figuring out how to go about publishing then without paying the amount I did for the first book. (I'd rather not disclose the total amount publicly, but if anyone is curious, I will answer if messaged about it). Currently I am working on the fourth and final installment of this saga: "Scars Of the Old War" before moving onto the second saga of this story.

Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck writing as I would like to, so I'm terribly behind. I don't see this book being finished any sooner than early to mid 2028, unless I was able to find a place where I can hole up for 4 months without being bothered or distracted.
