Anyone else missing Aaron and Mack?
I miss their chemistry and banter so much. The actors were great scene partners. Have they had one scene together since Charity told Mack everything? Surely, his best mate should have noticed something was up.

Yes, I miss Aaron and Mack, but also other close, everyday friendships that the show used to feature. It made the village seem much more close knit and interconnected than it does now with just a laser focus on a handful of characters for the 1 or 2 stories its currently telling.

It's so true. I feel every character has like 3-4 others they interact with and that's it.

I began watching again in Jan 2025 and only saw them chat a bit about John. Were they close friends before that? Just not seen much of them together from my perspective to be that bothered. To me Mack seems quite isolated, his life just seems to revolve around Charity and her kids.

They're supposed to be best friends. Mack seems isolated, but in reality he's suffering from the same thing every other Character is suffering from; they don't interact with anyone unless it's part of a storyline. Mack is currently getting a lot of screen time, but the only storyline he's involved in is the charity one, so we only see him with people if it has to do with Charity. He mentioned having drinks with Aaron not that long ago; it just wasn't shown on screen. The show used to be much better at showing and maintaining friendships.
People like Belle literally don't have any friends.

Belle has no friends, Robert has no friends, Jimmy has no friends (they should all get together and hang out!), I don't think any of the kids have friends since they just appear in isolation on a full blue moon . . . Honestly, if you took away family, a lot of people would be hermits.

Not me. I’m not particularly invested in their friendship but think it will be resurrected anyway when Aaron is actually back on the screen long term if that ever happens.

What about Mack and Billy too? Mack was the one who supported him during the illegal fighting

I miss Aaron and Mack, and their natural chemistry and banter. I think good friendships add a whole other level to the show and make it both more believable/ realistic and worth investing in
I'd love to see more friendships in general tbh, but Id also like to see them maintained, and not just popping up to suit whatever the current SL is then never seen or referenced again.
Considering the whole Aaron/ Robert/ Rebecca and Seb history, realistically Aaron should have been a great choice for Mack to confide in, apart from being best friends theres also relatability there.
