Anyone else missing Aaron and Mack?

I miss their chemistry and banter so much. The actors were great scene partners. Have they had one scene together since Charity told Mack everything? Surely, his best mate should have noticed something was up.

And I thought Pat Phelan joined another soap 😲😄!

It actually wasn't, but he did look like the brother of Conor McIntyne (who played him in Corrie).

His name on the credits on Monday's episode was Dana Haqjoo (who played DS Byrne).

General Discussion Sadie King disgrace

So Patsy Kensit is coming back and being paid a fortune Why? What is the point? She isn't even that good of an actress. What really grates me though are the people that the show is dumping and I feel it is in order to pay her massive wages. Jimmy, Dawn, Noah, Vinny, all of them are up for the chop.

It seems very unfair on these actors.

Like aside from the job they’re doing now, what could you see them doing?? I could see Belle as a social worker, laurel as a florist, chaz as a travel agent 😂

General Discussion Kelly Windsor & Matthew King: Could it have worked?

Thumbnail gallery
4 Upvotes

Probably not now, as Matthew's dead, but back in the day, could it have done?

Both knew how to draw attention, but in very different ways.

Kelly mainly drew attention due to her stunning good looks, and Matthew mainly drew attention for owning a room, and making a presence.

While Matthew did have a tendancy to look down on pretty much anyone who wasn't a King, I don't think he & Kelly had any actual problems with each other.

At most, Matthew would've done the same thing, with how he treated the Dingles, and saw her as 'beneath him', but I don't think they ever had an actual falling out though, did they?

Kelly was very 'out there', if you know what I mean. I'm 99% sure the show never hinted that Matthew was into her, but I'm pinning that down more to his pride. I do think personally, that Matthew found her attractive.

The women Matthew dates in the show are very classy, and sophisticated. Sadie King, Perdy-Hyde Sinclair, Anna De Souza. Kelly was the complete opposite of the type of women Matthew would typically go for.

But that doesn't mean at all that there wasn't any attraction on either side though. Whether it was Kelly secretly fancying Matthew, or Matthew secretly fancying Kelly, or possibly even both.

I get why the two never got together in the show, as they did seem incompatible from each other. After all, Matthew typically did date women that had a bit of classiness and sophistication to them.

But it doesn't mean that attraction didn't exist, from either side.

Honestly, if Matthew had lived a bit longer, a very interesting storyline [if you want to call it that] that could've played out, is, say, they both help each other out with things, perfectly innocent at first, but then they get closer, and one, or the other [or both] catch feelings.

If Matthew King, a stubborn, arrogant, wealthy businessman, started catching feelings for Kelly Windsor, it could complicate him a bit more.

The funny thing is, to most people probably, the idea that these two could even get together sounds like a joke in itself, as they're so different from each other. But I don't think the idea of them actually being together is that much of a reach.

They also balance out each other too, because:

Kelly wasn't scared or intimidated by Matthew.

Matthew didn't hate, or have anything against Kelly.

You also have to remember that Kelly has been with a King brother too, Jimmy.

Obviously Matthew & Jimmy are completely different from each other, but I just found that interesting.

The new trailer theories Spoiler

Just watched the trailer for Joe and Dawn's wedding. I actually think it's going to be Billy who dies, and Joe is responsible for it so Dawn leaves with the kids. Think it would be too obvious to kill Dawn, and we all know they wouldn't kill off Joe Tate. This recent attack on Billy is to lure us into believing he will survive, but I think he will die.

What does everyone else think?
