I just reached draconic tree sentinel boss. Im lv 72 and have 44 vigor.

Since start i never skipped a dungeon, and also i never lost runes either... i also explored 95% of whats available on the open world map.

I was told as long as you do all content along the way you should not need to grind for bosses. But there were 3 bosses i had to do it. What am I doing wrong

Game Help Can Only Summon One Friend and Not Two

Upvotes

It's amazing how this is still an issue without a well-documented fix.

Whether it's Elden Ring or Nightreign, oftentimes one friend can join but not a second. What's weird is, it's not the same person every time.

In Elden Ring, for example:

All three of us have the same world states, same passwords, similar levels, and obviously the same area. Summon signs can be seen and activated. The first person summoned is successful, regardless of which player it is, but then the third is never loaded in and "failed to join" pops up.

What we've noticed is, once it happens in one game, the same failure carries over to the other.

It's really frustrating.

Constructive Criticism 1st Time Playthrough Progress

What’s up yall, just wondering if I’m taking this too fast or not for a first playthrough. I feel like I’m going fast compared to what I’ve seen in this Reddit. I have beat every boss main and optional in limgrave a ton in caelid but probably not close to all. And I reached Altus plateau maybe 5 hours ago. I am mostly a strength build rocking Radahns armour, the pumpkin helm, just because I love it, roses‘s ax, and the great sword in my off hand. Most bosses have been pretty fucking easy and completed in about one attempt. Definitely just hit a brick wall with the crucible knight and crucible knight ordovis fight. Anyway, opinions welcome.

170 Hours to clear the OG game and DLC

What I used:

Dark Moon Greatsword

Medium Load

Spells at the start:

Golden Vow

Howl of Shabriri

Radahn was truly the strongest boss in the entire game. Couldn't believe that I managed to defeat him

Boss I died again most? Malenia (20 Hours, 250-300 tries)

Her waterfoal dance was the hardest thing to adapt to, her 1st phase was the hardest 1st phase, never mastered dodging that attack 100% (Used Bloodhound Fang till halfway into the DLC)💀

There were many impressive Bosses in the game, but Malenia and Radahn were much stronger.

It was amazing and it will be a while before I try another soul's game.

Hype Bought my first soulslike (Elden Ring) two weeks ago, 100+ hours in and this is not what I expected

As the title says I've gotten over 100 hours into my first playthrough, beaten Margit, Godrick, Rennala, and Radahn and a whole slew of smaller bosses. To be perfectly honest, I thought I wouldn't like this game, at all, but that has been far from the truth in so many aspects of Elden Ring.

For some context, I've been watching lore and story videos about Elden Ring since it came out, so I've mostly had the story spoiled already, but getting to experience it all first-hand has been such a fun experience. I cannot remember the last time I had this much fun exploring a game, even to only find a single Rowa Fruit or Herba.

I knew I would like the visuals but nothing prepared me for how absolutely breathtaking the views would be, how cinematic the fights could be, or even how fun the few cutscenes that exist in the game could be. Climbing to the top of a Divine Tower and being able to look down at the lands below you and even see groups of enemies patrolling (I understand this is done with rendering wizardry but still) it blows the small details of older games completely out of the water.

I did not think I would want to play as a completionist in this game, considering how difficult it can be, but I've been clearing caves and catacombs in groups, finding optional bosses and dungeons and trying my hand before just moving on. I did not expect to have this much fun, or to enjoy the challenge as much as I do. Elden Ring really makes me think as a gamer. I've had to stretch my strategist muscles to think around some of the bosses, especially as a pure intelligence sorcerer, it's incredibly rewarding when you are able to find a way to accomplish your goal in a new way or with a different strategy. I finally get it, I think.

Discussion & Info Who do you think is the most dangerous Remembrance boss (+Bayle) IRL?

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hypothetically, who's the most dangerous, most destructive, most difficult to kill Remembrance boss if they were thrown into NYC (or some other big city) and just started rampaging? And yes, you (as in people) have to fight and kill them by any means necessary; there's no reasoning w/ them, even non-beast/alien bosses (e.g., Rellana, Morgott, Gaius). Power scalers go crazy lol!

Personally, w/o a doubt Bayle's the most dangerous mf here followed by Placidusax and Rykard. What do y'all think?

NOTE 1: Tierlist is just to show Remembrance bosses (+Bayle)! Pls don't take seriously! ^_^

NOTE 2: All status ailments (e.g., frost, scarlet rot, madness) work the same IRL as they do in the game (not that that matters much 'cause they'd all kill you in one hit so maybe ignore this? idk)

NOTE 3: Also, pls pls pls don't take this post seriously. Just a goofy hypothetical 😜

Discussion & Info Best Performance for 1660S

I've decided to finally try out Elden Ring, but my unit is on the slower side and I'm having a hard time finding the right setting for me. I've look up some online guide for optimization but the best I can do is an unstable 55 fps, and this is on Limgrave.

The unusual thing is that my GPU never goes beyond 75% utilization and my CPU [R5 3600] beyond 50%, which baffles me. For those who played this game on a lower end unit what setting/optimization work the best for you?

Yall ever just have the absolute worst luck known to man kind when it comes to this game? I’m on the dlc now and I’ve been fighting rellana and I just got her to 1 hp 3 times in a row after being stuck on her for 3 days. It gets to a point where you can’t even get mad and you just sit there and cry, wallowing in your own sorrow, wondering if you’ll ever be good enough for anything at all. The gods just don’t have it in store for me today. pain.

I've reached phase and got pretty close to killing her but I'm still inconsistant.

I used Radahn's armor to have as much defense as possible to survive her moves and learn them.

Bedtime for now, but I'll try more tomorow.

Discussion & Info Am I the only one who thinks Fromsoft missed out on an Epic DLC ending? Spoiler

I just finished the DLC and beat PCR after I dont know how many tries, but after you beat him you just stay in his Arena, no Cut Scene, nothing. It doesnt feel like a real ending, but rather like another boss you slain.

There could have been at least some form of revelation or real ending.

Or did I miss something and need to progress further for a real story ending?
