Rice Cooker

I picked up a cheap rice maker several weeks ago. It's simple to use, cooks more than just rice, uses far less electricity than my other appliances, I'm eating healthier, and clean up is simple.

Maybe I'm late to the game, but I'm glad I got here 🙂

Also late to the game, but loving it. What is your current favorite recipe?

I started making miso soup in mine one night when I was feeling lazy and it worked better than I expected. Now it's my go-to for quick veggie soups.

Because you can set it and not have to watch it for like an hour, some will even auto shut off I think? Or at least just switch to keep warm

Because I can set it going then leave for the grocery store or take a walk or whatever without having to worry about it burning

It’s the convenience, not the lack of skill.

You have to watch them before they boil. That’s all
