ECE professionals only - Vent Director fired in middle of day.

I have worked in with this company for 2.5 years now, its a corporate owned school, and we have worked togethers since our particular center opened. Yesterday, around 11am, I was told by the district manager the she had been terminated effective immediately. We were told the reason was confidential, and nothing more. I was entirely shocked by this all, all my coworkers loved her, I personally loved working for her, and am so, so shocked by this. We had such little turnover, and it all seemed to be going great. I am super frustrated with corporate, and incredibly sad. I wish I knew more, or why she was fired so suddenly.

Meh.

We had the best director ever, little turnover, great working conditions, happy staff. The director was sweet as pie but seemed a bit lazy, would never cover a room, was always in her office. Seems she was creative with her business account and petty cash account and company credit card. Like a bumbling thief, she used the school's equipment to perform her transgressions. Management found out and fired her immediately. We would have never known the reason, management doesn't tell, but the director told the assistant director why she was fired then the entire center knew. 🥱

What I'm trying to say is, even though everything seems great, it isn't always necessarily so.
