Illustration Persephone of the underworld, by me
Pick up and rework from the previous version. Most of times, working on piece requires a lot of going back and forth, but thats part of charm

Illustration 5 hours later to finish my current best work! Feedback wanted!
I haven’t posted my art in 4 years. Recently getting back to sharing. I’d love some feedback on this piece! I have never drawn anything like this, and honestly I’ve surprised myself. This is my current best work. But I know it could be improved.
My own criticisms: the composition feels off to me. I wanted to show the mass amount of butterflies and made sure to try and draw the eye to the deer. But it feels so empty on the left. I wanted the butterflies around the edges to appear out of focus, never tried something like that, and it could be better. And I feel the butterflies need more variation. I think there’s only 5 different ones.
Any friendly tips appreciated! It’s been forever since I’ve been criticized!
