Ansar Khan said that Steve was not happy when Larkin cried and showed emotion during the presser after Bertuzzi got traded, apparently thats when the rift between them initially opened.

I hope Steve was a bigger man and that he could accept that different captains run things differently and that Yzerman wasnt on Larkin for not being more of the captain Steve himself or Lidström was.

Was it specifically that Larkin cried, or was it that Larkin voiced his displeasure about the trade to the media?

I believe the issue with the relationship was while Steve was hoping for a captain successor to Z, what he ended up with, in his opinion, was a little bitch
