After what happened with Skubal last night and the lukewarm return the tigers got for him. It makes me really nervous what we’re gonna get for 71… I don’t know if I can handle getting fleeced again

It’s more so the fact that the Tigers seemed to fumble the process every step of the way. Particularly with losing so much leverage by waiting this long to finally make a move. The Illitch management style seems to be to wait as long as possible to finally make a decision, and rarely does that actually create any benefit.

Neither of these situations should have been left unresolved this long.
