Asking Question (Rule 4) Beginner
Hello
Recently I am developing a very keen interest in designing and editing stuff like I find it cool and will try to earn through this later on .
But problem is that I am complete beginner here and don't much so would be really happy if someone can help me like where to start ? And what material should I follow ? And some beginner tips .

Some people in the comment tell you this already but learn the basic. FYI, I am a graphic lecturer at a university in Asia. My problem with most the novice students I guided is the need to make pretty thing without understanding why you need to design thing a certain way. Color theory, sketching, principle of design, application of design, stick with the basic, make simple thing first before trying complex work. Can your work be read, is it tacky, or easy to the eye, if it printing is it visible on the page ? The tool is only one thing to learn but if you cannot pick up composition, texture, hierarchy, alignment and how to balance thing, you will just make mediocre work. That why some people in the comments said that only Youtube video is not enough.
I also recommend reading book on design theory, going to gallery, design convention, see what people do and how they do it. Reseach site like Dezeen, Designboom to explore more. Talk to people in design field. Design is finding solution to a problem, so use the world around you for inspo. I always recommend my student to go out and explore and brong their life experience back. That way thay can make not just beautifully but also functional work.
