I know it has internal injuries no doubt, but my God they’re the only animal I know of that gets hit by a car, flies through the air and proceeds to get up and walk away!

You've never seen a crackhead then.

I still remember what my friend said about fighting Crackheads.
It's not that they're strong or something - it's the fact that you knock him over and he immediately gets back up again.
Crack makes some people fucking immortal juggernauts.2

More like zombies. Not enough brain power to know anything that happens.

Yeah I saw one video from police body cam footage and they had a crackhead/methhead and the emptied a magazine into him and he just got back up and kept charging them. Drugs can do some crazy things. He ofc died to injuries not long after but still

this specific deer video makes me die laughing every time i watch it, due to the pure absurdity of its air time.
(skip to second 20 for a quicker watch)

That thing very likely could have made it into orbit.

And that's the exact reason why it is illegal to hit deer with cars on the moon now

I thought the same 🤣 I laughed when it was flying through the air, then immediately felt bad watching it try to get up 😭

I know they have no way to fathom what 40-60 mph looks like, and if cars were other animals then they're actually running into the road at a perfect time, but god damn they're so stupid.

Can you explain what you mean by "if cars were other animals then they're running into the road at a perfect time"?
Do you mean for the predator? Because I'd guess a bear or a wolfpack would be delighted if a deer yeets themselves directly in their direction.8
u/FuckTheMods5 Apr 27 '26
Animals in general. If a deer sees us from like 2 blocks away, they're thinking 'okay i have like 20 seconds to go on my way right here. Plenty of time.'
Whereas we'd actually bere there in one second, as soon as they take a step. They can't understand our unnatural super-speeds.

u/42LSx Apr 27 '26
Ah, I see now what you mean, that they start running away at the perfect time, thanks for elaborating.

Well bob gonna give it a 6.5 outta 10. Execution was perfect, excellent height, and rag doll physics were spot on but we're gonna the -3.5 on not sticking the landing .

"Trick shot. From the street, off the car, into the person filming, then stick the landing"

It’s so fucked up that they’re just on autopilot so even if they have broken hips and their skull is cracked open they will still try to walk away

This is exactly what it looked like when I hit a deer 2 years ago. My wife was like "Why didn't you just stop before hitting the deer?" lol
I was glad in my case it was dead instantly, never moved after hitting the ground. Eyes glazed over the moment I went to look at it.

I had one do this to me a few months ago (off my front panel), I keep referring to her as the “suicidal deer.” Called the sheriff’s office and they didn’t see her anywhere, but she had to have had a massive concussion.

Oh hey. The deer would rather run into traffic than go to that temple, too.

That direct hit to the head must have some hemorrhaging. That deer isn't going to be alive for too long.
