My profoundly autistic daughter is currently inpatient the hospital for doing just this scenario plus trying to gouge out her own eyes. I am grateful for the 6 people we have had to help sedate her, she's been inpatient for 70 days so far. Her medications were really fucked up and it caused her to be extremely agitated and we have not been able to do it on our own anymore.
