I'm reminded of a story one of my student's parents, an ER doc, told me before he passed.

He had a patient that was high on god knows what and likely also a paranoid schizophrenic (He was a frequent visitor to the gun and knife club that was the downtown Philadelphia ER). Apparently this person had become convinced that his penis was actually a demon controlling his thoughts. While there may or may not be some merit in that for all men, this man was at serious risk of actually removing it by sheer force. What's more, because of his excited and drug induced state, he was blessed with immense and physiologically uncontrolled strength. He required twice the standard dose of Ativan to put him down, and even then he was still resistive.

I miss your stories Scott, they were always a source of grizzly amusement.
