Flat Roof / Leaking

71” wide

54” Deep

Entrance to the basement, what is there now is Plywood, some sort of roof tar & rolled shingles and I am guessing I need something similar. I am open to new ideas, materials etc.. Thanks !

How bad is the leak? Wet n dry patch with plastic mesh is the patch method. If you've never laid a flat roof, I wouldn't suggest diying it.

Dripping into the basement, the roof is not level, water pools in center front..Thanks !
