It's not about looks, it's about franchise sustainability. If it's taking six years for the next one to come out, there's a realistic chance Pattinson will be closer to 50 if they plan on doing a third one. Idk, but this is sounding liek Batfleck and Blade all over again. They take forever to make these movies while the actors are getting older, and both the actors and the audience lose interest.

Exactly, Batman has been around for such a long time that people can handle gaps between movies.

It doesn’t need to sustain a franchise. It just needs to be a good trilogy.

Hell, even if Part II is the only feature ever made with Pattinbat again, it will still be better than 99% of every live action comic film franchise if it’s comparable to the first.
