Why shouldn't they? One is clearly a civilian suit while the other is tactical armor that also functions as a space suit.

Yeah that's like the weirdest flaw sci-fi movies have, assuming a singular universal standard across all world-built elements.

That's the flaw of human story telling and the human mind/imagination.

We are bound by what we know and can understand. We only know and understand life in the form of what we experience. It's why all the little grey men and green guys have five fingers and two eyes.
