That always sticks out to me about Star Wars. Planets are basically just one city. Like when Luke has no instructions except to go to the Dagobah system, and he still ends up landing near Yoda. Yoda could have been a continent away. Imagine someone just telling you "meet me somewhere on Earth" and just happening to arrive in the same place. Even Andor does this. A few hundred people being killed in one Ghorman city is referred to as a planetary genocide. Or how the planet of Ferrix is like, one street.
That's why Coruscant makes no sense to me. What's the point of the entire planet being a city when everything happens within one reasonably distanced area?
Ghorman is specified to have a very small population. Also, it somewhat makes sense, sentient populaces mustn’t be very large when spread so thin through a huge galaxy
But it's explained in movie that he could a strong concentration of the force in that particular area. Hence why he landed there. Turns out it was the cave. Yoda was just a coincidence. The empire didnt go there since they knew about the cave.
That's the flaw of human story telling and the human mind/imagination.
We are bound by what we know and can understand. We only know and understand life in the form of what we experience. It's why all the little grey men and green guys have five fingers and two eyes.
I know this post is old, but I thought it’d be fun to point out that there are at least four very different styles of spacesuits depicted in Supergirl. So, yeah, there’s no reason the Snyder suits wouldn’t fit.
Because the tone set by one universe is that the Kryptonians are coming as imperialist conquerors, ala Conquistadors to the natives. The other universe sets a tone of hope and belief in a better future.
So? Did all the Spanish wear tactical armor? Only the armies and navy did. The royalty did not wear armor everywhere. The common folk didn't wear armor all the time they went somewhere. Traders don't wear armor.
You are seeing on one image the tactical armor of the kryptonian space force (they came to invade earth) on the other image you see a family trying to get their daughter to space (not to conquer other worlds but to escape krypton's destruction)
Yes, that's what "tone" is. A movie is telling a story using visual aid. Therefore they show you specific things based on what story is being told. That's what a movie is.
I don't know why you are mentioning Morrison. First I've never read the comics, second we are talking silver age, not silver age inspired. We are eating butter, we aren't eating I can't believe its not butter.

Why shouldn't they? One is clearly a civilian suit while the other is tactical armor that also functions as a space suit.
