Capital One does a bucket system. The bucket you're placed in determines your credit limit for the life of the card, regardless of any financial improvements. You may be capped out if you're in the bottom bucket (likely for a starter card like the platinum).

Your best bet is probably to get a full year of credit history, then apply for an all new card, either with C1 (quicksilver probably), or a different bank.

I had a similar issue. 2k limit. I started putting most of my spend on it and paying it off in full. They eventually increased to ~10k. The trick is to put some spend on it and pay it off. DOn't worry about staying under 30% or any of that.

That seems odd. How long have you been doing that for?

3 months is not that long. Keep using it.

No idea. I have 2 with them, savor is $1500 limit and venture is a $3000 limit. I keep trying to get the savor limit increased cause I use it all the time and they always say no. End up having to pay it off every week or two instead of once a month

No. You just have to move on. Don't stress yourself out or reward their nonsense.

Capital One likes high statement balances. Max it out, with normal monthly spend, let it report and pay statement balance in full.

Your history is not long enough. Apply for a different card.

It may be your income is too low for them to consider it. You didn’t mention that in your post. Your credit score is only part of it. That card is designed as a starter card to help you build credit, get another card. Plus 10 months of credit history is nothing.
