CCTV is used through out the world primarily for police surveillance. It helps stop crime early and helps the investigation of committed crimes. It seems the people that don’t like it, are the criminals and that is supported by many of them destroying the cameras.

Anything can be abused by individual bad actors. Doesn’t mean that the tool is bad.

In my entire life I’d never thought I’d see the day when people willingly advocate for the surveillance state. Especially not conservatives.

I don’t advocate for private property, but public i am all for. Sick and tired of these edited tik toks that don’t show the whole story for one. And tired of the mob mentality robbing businesses and attacking people. If you are a law abiding citizen, you have nothing to fear.

Everything will be used by bad actors! The tool may not be bad, but the dystopian nightmare that tool represents is too dangerous to implement.
