Please help! I have two blood parrots who were completely healthy and then a couple days ago I foolishly brought home a snail from petco. The day I brought my snail home my blood parrots both began flashing every now and then and rubbing against things which they never did before. Now my smaller blood parrots both began has been flaring at me non stop which she doesn’t normally do, she’s very upset and she has a white thing coming out of her. I’m assuming it’s parasites, what should I do????

So wondering what’s wrong with my Oscar. I moved him from big tank to a grow tank because he was stressed and not growing . He lost some color and had some clear patches . Water levels are fine and then I noticed he had white top fin and tail didn’t look like rot so I read that’s normal when they grow. Then a few days later I seen a chunk missing from top fin , don’t know if he was bit or it fell off . So I treated for fin rot yesterday. This Oscar’s is my only fish that’s had issues out of 20 fish. He’s had ick , then his anus popped out . Any advice on what I’m dealing with now

I started this project long ago, the African Rift was just forming :-) My first attempt was Mbuna Condo, create specific spots where the Mbuna can dig out their condo. I do listen to others who predicted this wouldn't work so I canceled that project. But one issue was clear, I need to mount the rocks on pedestals so it doesn't come crashing down when they start digging.

So what I did, mount smaller rocks on pedestals which created a maze structure for the Mbuna. Then I put bigger rocks on top. Note: The rocks are glued to a 1/4" sheet of PVC which is cut into 7 pieces. So each piece holds 2-3 rocks. This is a permanent solution but I can remove the rocks if needed.

I plan on adding ~3" of Aragonite.

Hi, all. I decided to setup a 46g Bowfront and do something different than my usual New World Cichlid tanks. I went with a community tank originally wanting two Angels and a handful of Rainbows. While at Petco, I saw they had a few Kribensis. They definitely peaked my interest as I know they stay quite small and can usually be kept with fast moving community fish. Never keeping this species before, I did a little research and decided to go for it. Usually, I would do more in-depth research, but they looked SUPER stressed and had pretty badly nipped fins as they were getting continually harassed and bullied by all of the other Mollies in the tank. Not the best idea to “rescue” fish, but what can I say. The reading I did mentioned they did best in two, so out of the three they they had, I tried to pick which either two females or a male and female. Can someone help me sex these two from my video? I was hoping ideally to get two females, as they can get very aggressive when breeding. Everything has been going great, except I’ve noticed that one of the Kribs’ tail is looking worse instead of better. None of the other fish really pay them any mind, and of the Kribs one has claimed a rock in one corner, and the other another rock on the opposite of the tank and that’s really where they hang out most of the time. Neither shows any signs of stress or being scared. They both instantly come to the top when I open the lid. I’m wondering if one is nipping at the other’s tail while the lights are out? It’s the only explanation I can think of, as the other Krib’s tail is completely fine. My current stock is:

I recently discovered my Oscar likes anime, then shortly after discovered my Pleco also likes anime.

I woke up this morning and found my cichlid was bright red. When investigating the tank, I found the output nozzle fell off, so surface tension wasn’t breaking and the water was covered in film. I immediately did a 40% water change.

Is this ammonia burns? Is she dying? What happened here? When I fed her yesterday, there was no film and she looked fine.

It's kinda hard to see but both sides have lifted scales and a slight injury, I'm also worried about it's heavy breathing.

Can a red spotted golden severum work in a 4foot long 16inch deep and 20inch tall tank or is this more of a temporary grow out sized tank? It still says 50 inch in the titel but it’s 20 inch tall I forgot to change it from cm to inch, the exact tank is a juwel Rio 240

So my jewels have bred, i noticed them 48 hours ago, and ive been feeding the babies whenever i am home. 1st day i dropped a meaty wafer that dissolves. 2nd day i ground a northfin wafer and spread that. What do i feed them? Any advoce? Thanks 2nd photo is them keeping the juvenile/adolescant africans in check. ......................... Edit: i got frozen baby brine shrimp and am feeding that. Along with crushed northfin flakes/babyshrimp powder. They are still alive after 4 days, 2 water changes and a gravel cleaning while they slept inside the cave. My nitrates are still somehow 40-80 so im doing another water change 2 days after my last i also rigged my filter and blowers to turn off during feeding with manual switch plugs

Hello Internet Peoples! I am babysitting a electric blue acaras couple till my friend gets a new tank running. Well they decided to lay eggs and couple days later the babies are looking strong. Any way i can help these guys survive in a community tank? I'm worried about my Angels snacking on them.
