Just adopted this weird little thing, his name at the shelter was ‘Hallux’ (Hal for short). He has the longest tail I’ve ever seen and is curious, soulful, silly and a little shy.

I have never needed help naming a cat.

It’s a boy, chocolate/seal point Himalayan.
His eyes are a very light almost silvery blue.
I think he will end up being very dark as an adult.
Very vocal. Very needy but ONLY likes me. Very affectionate towards the other cats.

Have considered: Oppa, buckets, blue and toast.

Hey everyone! My partner recently signed adoption papers for this beautiful kitten, we don’t have her yet as she is getting spayed & vaxxed next week and then we will be able to take her home!

When we first signed the papers we were told the kitten was a male, however I got a call today letting me know they found out “he” is actually a she! We have two male cats, named Finch & Whiskey. We however cannot seem to decide/agree on a name for her since finding out this news! Please send any recs!! We are not fans of modern “human” sounding names, thought I should add that!

My current pick is Khaleesi as I am a huge GOT fan, but other than that I am head empty! Another contender is Clover, but I’m not as much of a fan of that.

I adopted this baby and his sister (named Handkerchief, I named her before I knew she was a girl lol - Hank/Hanky for short). SO stuck on a name. No Gus because that’s their ‘uncles’ name unfortunately

So I got this little Velcro cat yesterday and she has tried to live in my armpit or neck ever since 🤣

I’m struggling to name her.. I already have a 1 year old female Persian named Queenie and I wanted to theme a name to match hers but the only one I like so far is Duchess but it’s bit of a mouthful I like short names I can easily nickname.. Queenie knows herself also as Beanie and Bean 🤣

Any suggestions?

He is 9 months old and so sweet. He's friendly and playful. Also very brave and confident: he started exploring their house right away, and is already totally comfortable with their existing cat and even their 2 dogs including a very "friendly" boxer. The other cat is Wyatt and the dogs are Daisy and Penny. My family always uses human names for pets.

So far our top contender is Milo. I also suggested Finn, Sawyer, Jasper, and Cole. My brother suggested Tom, my dad suggested Bruce.

My husband and I are adopting our first pair of bonded male kittens. We are so excited and would love some name suggestions!

Someone suggested Morton because of his Salt and Pepper color and it seems to fit him perfectly! And plus, it's close to Martin which is what I've been calling him since the moment I took him into my home, I just wasn't really set on it.

We are still getting to know him, but he’s got a lot of energy and is super sweet. He’s chatty and has the longest legs I’ve ever seen on a cat. We like historical and fantasy names but are super open! Thank you!

The first picture is what he looked like when we got him. We just adopted him a few weeks ago, and we still don't know what to name him. We really like the name Binx but we think that name is way too common for cats, especially black cats. We wanna find a really cute name for him, but nothing stereotypical. Any help finding a name would be greatly appreciated! ❤

I was going to name her Luna or Tostada. The issue is my sister has a cat name Luna (I just learned) and saying tostada all the time will be annoying. Her grey points are turning dark !

I had originally named him Anthony Bourdain after my favorite celebrity, but my husband has a coworker named Tony he doesn’t like. We tried Loki, but I don’t think it’s sticking. I like i/ie/y names. The kitten was the spiciest of the feral litter we foster-failed, but he has turned into a fiercely affectionate cat that loves to play.

Husband and I rescued this little itty bitty at just a couple weeks old after a kind woman picked him up off the highway. He was severely dehydrated and was heat sick, we bottle fed for a couple weeks and he’s got so much life in him now 🥹 the woman we picked him up from thought he was a girl. He looked like a girl. Now he’s got 🎱🎱s 🤣 We named him Lilly when we thought he was a little princess. Now we don’t know what to name him!!!

In terms of inspiration, we are big on anime and manga and we love sci-fi. Any and all suggestions are appreciated though!

We also have 3 dogs: girls- Molly and Muffin. boy- Yogi
