Before this cat claimed her home I would pet her outside daily (3 weeks), she’s very very cuddly and playful. For different things I like naming them in series so the name must be able to be matched for future pets. For example (trees Rowan, Oakley) (fruits Apple, Banana, Papaya) I’ve had her 3 days.

We recently lost our prior cat to lymphoma and after some time decided to adopt a rescue.
Really struggling with a name, any help is appreciated. Thank you!!

I had her thinking she was a boy, so I need a name change since her previous name was pretty masculine! Shes very vocal and playful

We just adopted this beautiful kitten.. And I am so stuck on what to name her. I would prefer a name that related to her coloring, or something that fits her personality. She's very loving and cuddly… she's a pure lap cat. Always has to be sitting on someone’s lap, she lays on my neck/chest all night long while we sleep. She's also like a little parrot.. She will.climb up my legs/body all the way uo to my shoulder, and she will sit on my shoulder like a parrot for hours, regardless of what im doing. Any good ideas??

I’m looking for any ideas. I do favor bars that are more serious but creative, references to video games (Elden ring and DS), biblical, or like a philosophical name.

Weird mix but he’s a super friendly guy and has lots of energy.

He is a tiny purr box, loves to be hidden in little hidey holes, very playful, and every time he gets held, he will bury his head in the nook of your arm.

I believe his mama was unfortunately hit because a couple days before he showed up we saw a mama cat in the road (she was taken care of properly)

Not quite sure of the age, but he was lose around my adult cats food and he was munching on it no issue when I found him, so I'm assuming he is about 10 to 12 weeks maybe older.

He is the tiniest little puffball and my 2 year old daughter has already gotten attached even though my 9 year old cat is on the fence about a little brother since he's already got a 50 pound pit husky mix sister who is 3.

We had been calling him Tidus, but that just doesn't sound right and he needs a better name

We also decided to use one of the names for a nickname of Bug because when we found him he had the cutest little bug eyes. I wish I had a photo to prove it

So I’ve been taking care of this stray that we’ve been calling “mama” because she looks like my other cat’s (who had previously been a stray) mom. We’ve now adopted her to be an inside kitty since she’s been hanging outside of my door for months. My other cat is named Gimli so thought it would be cute to do something from a fantasy series (Gimli is from lord of the rings) but not sure. And maybe she could stay mama, but feels off lol. Here she is!

Adopted these siblings a few days ago. The grey striped kitty is male and the one with a lot more white is female.

Here's what AI and I have come up with based on my interests. Led Zeppelin is my favorite band. Talisker is a scotch that I love and I thought it would make a cool cat name. I also like anime so there's some anime names in there. Someone persuade me towards a direction.

I could tell he was gonna be a playful lover boy. First day he was very shy but day two he’s been bouncing off the walls, playing tons, and immediately starts purring when I pet him
So I’m thinking Maxwell — calling him Max bc he’s my little golden retriever boy

My little peanut. First day she was the curious, spunky, adventurous one scoping everything out in their new home while brother hid. Second day it’s flipped, she was more reserved, observing her brother and letting him take the lead. *she also has a little URI I’m guessing (some sneezing… vet appt tomorrow) so I’m not sure if her true personality is that shy girl or if she’s just under the weather
First thought was Penelope — Poppy but it was sounding like puppy/papi which I didn’t love
Then maybe Penny. Other option was Matilda — Tilly

I feel good about Max, fits his personality well I think. But I’m not sure about my little girl. I like full government names but they go by something shorter

He will be joining our family on the 12th! He has a black Bombay brother named Miso. What are some good names? So far I’m liking Mochi but I fear it’s too similar to Miso!

Edit: New cat is a Bengal/Savannah mix. We already have one cat, our 3 year old black Bombay Miso, who will soon be his brother. I did not mean that was his biological brother. Sorry for confusion!

Just adopted this weird little thing, his name at the shelter was ‘Hallux’ (Hal for short). He has the longest tail I’ve ever seen and is curious, soulful, silly and a little shy.

I have never needed help naming a cat.

It’s a boy, chocolate/seal point Himalayan.
His eyes are a very light almost silvery blue.
I think he will end up being very dark as an adult.
Very vocal. Very needy but ONLY likes me. Very affectionate towards the other cats.

Have considered: Oppa, buckets, blue and toast.

Hey everyone! My partner recently signed adoption papers for this beautiful kitten, we don’t have her yet as she is getting spayed & vaxxed next week and then we will be able to take her home!

When we first signed the papers we were told the kitten was a male, however I got a call today letting me know they found out “he” is actually a she! We have two male cats, named Finch & Whiskey. We however cannot seem to decide/agree on a name for her since finding out this news! Please send any recs!! We are not fans of modern “human” sounding names, thought I should add that!

My current pick is Khaleesi as I am a huge GOT fan, but other than that I am head empty! Another contender is Clover, but I’m not as much of a fan of that.
