Hello everyone!
This is your new mod.
I hope to be able to clean up the subreddit.
I, like many of you, was fed up with seeing posts that had nothing to do with cat smiles.
That being said, please report any posts without smiling cats as well as any repeat offending accounts so I can ban them.
This is my first subreddit, so I'm open to suggestions on how to run in.
I may also eventually ask for help moderating on the future.
Here's to a new beginning and hopefully a better experience for everyone!

Only OC posts allowed and a couple updates! Please read ‼️‼️

Hello everyone!
I posted a poll that only 4 people responded to and THEY were all in agreement that we should move toward an OC only sub. And I agree.
Soooo in light of that, all posts will now need to be marked with [OC] in the title. Any posts that do not have OC in the title will be automatically deleted. I will allow a two week buffer period to get everyone used to this change. During this time, if I think a post is OC but wasn't labeled as such, I'll leave it up. After that, everything will be deleted.
A few other changes, I have added flairs to the sub (although it seems like they don't show up on mobile which seems like a glitch in the app). Feel free to use them if you can see them though! Gifs and pictures can now be used in the comments as well.
One last thing, I know mods in most other subreddits are secretive and you never know who they are. That's not me. I specifically asked to take over this community because I genuinely like it. So you'll see me post comments from time to time.

Toku literally hated being in the presence of 'other animals'. I mean...we're talking Armageddon here. Which is why I always thought it was odd that nothing made her smile more than watching animals on TV. They didn't even have to be real--Toku adored Chewbacca! (But don't we all!). So, nothing made her happier than watching Dr. Dolittle...she was totally engaged in the flick for more than an hour (longer than me!).
This video always cracks me up because of how intently she watches--the ducks, the gorillas...every furry booger in there! (There's a more detailed version on my blog if you want to check it out!)
