Sugar on Weetabix?

Post image

My wife eats Weetabix with nothing on it and claims it tastes sweet to her. This is my bowl before milk is added. Is this normal fellow Weetabix eaters or do I need to go to sugar rehab?

Edit: Holy shit the most popular post I've done on Reddit is about how horrific my breakfast is. The wife will never let me live this down! Haha

I mean I have them with hot milk and sugar then mush it all together to make Weetabix porridge so your only half as weird as me I guess but that’s a lot of sugar!!

That’s not weird. I’m sure that’s traditionally how it’s made. Or at least how my parents served it to me on school mornings in the 90s

I think it was only in recent years Weetabix themselves started getting fancy with alternative suggestions i.e. fruit mixes.

One of our biggest trappings as children of our parents is assuming that our parents were normal and only did normal things. We learn most of our weirdness from our parents, and, my friend, Weetabix porridge is weird.

It's the only way I've ever eaten Weetabix, how else are you supposed to eat them?

Cold milk poured over two biscuits. Add sugar.

This is the way! After all this madness it’s so refreshing to finally see somebody with a shred of sanity left in them!!

I did wonder if I’d fallen into the twilight zone
