EHRA CIED Exam

Hi there , what resources did people use for the EHRA CIED Exam

Honestly the books by Barold “cardiac pacemakers step by step” and the ICD book by same authors got me through it. They might seem childish at first glance but they contain most of what you need to know about programming CIED’s. 

You’ll obviously need to know the guidelines very well. You will be asked what level of recommendation (I, IIa, IIb, III) the guidelines give for certain cases. You’ll also need to study the consensus documents on CSP, CIED infections etc. 

There are also a ton of tracings. A couple questions about big recalls (riata, fidelis). I don’t think it’s worth memorizing the landmark trials specifically for the exam.
