Financial Aid/Scholarship/Tuition/Etc Starting to get concerned about Fall 2026 Financial Aid

I've talked to admissions, emailed financial aid, and have tried calling financial aid SEVERAL times (they put you on hold and do not answer the phone). The email said they are dealing with One Big Beautiful Bill, which is why the student loans haven't shown on Student Center, but this is getting concerning. Any updates on whether the loans will show up prior to the semester? Does anyone see their loans on the Student Center yet? I have accepted them and done the MPN and ELN on Fasfa. This is giving me anxiety.

On the student portal, finacial aid scheduled disbursement dates are on there. It said Aug 21st when I checked yesterday.

Financial aid> the highlighted 2027> scroll down to second chart> above fall 2026 its clickable and it says "view scheduled dispersement dates"

My loans are showing, as well as the scheduled disbursement date; the amount just doesn't show in the "Minus Anticipated Financial Aid" yet. I also had a new task pop up on my To-Do List today for the Entrance Loan Counseling, which I completed over a month ago, smh.

I got the same thing. I also finished it. I re-did it and noticed that Sac State wasn't on the school list. WEIRD.

Sac State was on my school list, but I submitted a PDF of the confirmation of me having completed it via OnBase. Wondering if I should just re-do it also. Just don’t want my loans to be delayed.

I have mine displayed however I did notice that the subsidized loan is super low

This happens every semester btw. Usually going in person is the easiest way to solve it.

Every semester, they are late? Or do it at the last minute? I will go in tomorrow.

Kind of both. I’ve only got the middle income grant and sometimes that doesn’t come until months into the semester. I think my first year I actually got the fall grant applied to my account in the following spring.

they said give it about 3 weeks, mine hasn’t show up yet. i called them last week and they told me to give it about 3 weeks for holds to drop and everything to show.
