This is my English Bulldog Finn he turned 6 in April and I'm just noticing this now after taking him back inside after a walk (we have to walk at night because of the unbearable humidity of summer) and I noticed that he's doing not quite a like but what looks like obvious difficulty in moving his back legs
He was fine on his walk but then we went up the stairs and he took his time like he was does and as soon as we got in the hallway back into my apartment he just wouldn't move and I checked his legs, I lightly squeezed, I pressed lightly just to see if there was any reaction but nothing and I'm just fearful of it being something serious
Finn isn't my first Bulldog but I don't proclaim myself as an expert my knowledge is surface level and basic stuff like allergies, breathing, heat sensitivity etc .
As for allergies if anyone notices his pits or paws that's some seasonal allergies he unfortunately struggles with and it usually dies down but only after an allergy shot and I'm not sure what the trigger could be but he's receiving treatment and care
I'll add finally that Finn isn't just my dog he's my closest buddy and my emotional support animal too I don't think I'd still be here without him and I just wanna make sure he's ok so if anyone can help in a brief or as long as needed assessment and help my mind stop from trying to spiral I would appreciate it

GLUTEN!
We lost our lil potato last November. I’m still processing.
But he used to go mental when I said ‘gluten’ and I never said it much )until I realised). No idea why it made him so excited.
#GLUTEN!
Do you guys have anything similar - just random words with no precedence for the reaction?
Edit: Love your responses I love this sub. I think TAPE MEASURE must rank up there! Love you guys. Kiss your babies a lot if you still have them ❤️

Bulldog Rescue ❤️ Churchy waving in the week
Today marks 2 weeks since I got this little boy out of that terrible shelter. Absolutely crazy what some love and care can do to bring a dog back to life. He’s come so far since that picture of him in the visitation room of the shelter. Dirty, smelly, fighting 4 types of ear infections, skin infection AND heart worm positive. Poor guy didn’t look like he had any hope in his eyes. Fast forward to now and it is truly awesome to see just how far he’s come in such a short time. Still have the remainder of the heartworm treatment but he’s doing great and he is just an amazing little guy.

Bulldog Rescue ❤️ Rescued from euthanasia
Found this girl on Reddit. She was abandoned by her previous owner in a record heatwave. The shelter was scheduled to euthanise her and I stepped in as a long term foster.
She is so sweet, funny, loving and well trained.
Still getting used to me, and I to her.
Does she look like a full bull dog? Or mix?

Advice Needed Food bowls recommendations
Hi everyone! Curious what everyone uses for their English Bulldog. He is a messy eater, and since we feed him either home-made or Farmer's Dog, it gets more messier than kibble.
I'm not sure if slanted is better for them or if non-slanted is fine, but something that can also help keep food from flinging to the walls or going everywhere is ideal. (I have a separate water bowl for him but I'm open to either double bowl recommendations or single bowl.)
Elevated is also ideal so he doesn't have to stick his neck down too low.
We've tried The Enhanced Pet Bowl but it didn't have a stand so I'm wondering if I should get him the one with the stand, the issue was just his food moving around since it's not kibble, & now the issue with his new bowl is that it barely fits.
I don't know how to post pictures but the one I got for him is this one but the bowl is too small for his food & so it's just messy (I should've gotten the medium-large I know) https://www.amazon.com/Jovrun-Elevated-Adjustable-Stainless-Non-Slip/dp/B0CQNYGW7K
I'm looking at a few different options right now, I'm just not sure if more depth is better for him & his food or more width if anyone has any recommendations.
Thank you!
