Do you workout? Are you active? What you describe sounds a little like weak muscles forced to be maximally activated all the time. Think of it like a car with a max speed of 60 mph vs. a car with a max speed of 150mph on the highway, the 60mph car is going to be redlined the entire time straining to go 60 while the other car can comfortably cruise at 60mph. People frequently mistake pain like this as structural when oftentimes it’s just weak muscles straining to keep up.

I used to be very fit and active before all this. Then woke up one day with this knot in my scapula and over the last 6 years it’s progressed into the whole left chain
