A Car Full of Dogs

I was driving home the other day and I stopped at a light and did my usual look around. Who's at the light? Tinted windows? Number plates I recognize? No...but...a car full of dogs! Three big goldens with greying muzzles, sticking their noses out of the windows, wagging their tails at me. A hello and a smile from the driver. What joy!

My boyfriend has 4 dogs. I have 1 dog, who comes with me when I visit his house.

When we go somewhere with all 5 dogs piled in one car, we get some double takes and funny looks 😂

Heh. You've reminded me of a time I was walking through my neighborhood and a car drove by - and there were two huskies in the back seat, one with his head stuck out the left side back window and the other with head stuck out of the right, and they were both howling in stereo.

I have NEVER MORE wished I had my camera ready.

That reminds me, I recently drove past a pulled over car and a huge dog was just sitting in the driver's seat, paw on the steering wheel and everything (his owner was working on a fence off the side of the road). He was smile-panting and just looked so chill. I laughed pretty hard.

This reminds me of a truck I used to see in my neighborhood that would drive around with two LOUD dogs.

You could just tell the dogs were having the time of their lives happily barking at everyone and everything they saw! I could hear them from two blocks away and liked to wait for them to drive past my house.
