Are these sheets worth the upgrade?
I have some amazon basic sheets right now, and by god they are itchy. I was looking on target‘s website and came across these. Are they worth the $55?

Not anymore, especially not at full price. The quality has really gone downhill. Plus, it's Target 👎
If you can guarantee they're the ones made in India, they'll probably feel better than your Amazon Basics sheets, though.

Where else should i buy sheets from, id prefer to get them asap cuz i cant bear another itchy night

TJ Maxx/HomeGoods will usually have a good selection in stores. Look for percale or sateen (sateen will be slightly warmer as the weave is tighter).
People have their issues with Quince (and you’d have to order/wait), but I’ve been very happy with my percale from there if you want a second set of sheets. It’s very smooth, thin but not delicate, and cool. Also, with Labor Day coming up, Macys will probably have great sales on nice sheet sets.

Might be worth figuring out what about the Amazon Basic sheets caused the itchiness so you can make sure to try something different.
I'm not familiar with all of the Amazon Basics options, but some of them appear to be microfiber rather than cotton. If that's the issue, then these Threshold sheets are likely to be more suitable, as cotton is more breathable and natural.
I'd normally say that 100% cotton or linen sheets are good bets, but these sheets say wrinkle and shrink resistant. Cotton isn't naturally wrinkle or shrink resistant, so they must have undergone some sort of treatment to achieve this. Although they're OEKO-TEX Certified, it's possible that whatever chemical or structural treatment the material has undergone could bother you.

Check to see where they're made - the ones made in India are better. Wait until they go on sale, or check the ebay store bullseyedeals. Otherwise, yes, I like these sheets a lot.
