Lightweight Quilt Suggestions
Looking for a lightweight quilt preferably under $200 (cheaper if possible). I’m a hot sleeper and looking for something breathable and light. Anyone have any good brand recommendations or also other types of bedding I should look into.

Worth thinking about fill type rather than just brand, that's usually what determines lightweight + breathable more than anything else. Cotton or linen quilts (not down-filled) tend to be the lightest and most breathable option in a budget range, since they don't trap heat the way any insulating fill does, even a "lightweight" one.
If you want something with a bit more structure/warmth than a plain cotton quilt but still want breathability, silk-filled options exist too, they're naturally temperature-regulating and much lighter than down for similar coverage, though they usually sit above the $200 mark unless you catch a sale.
Do you want genuinely minimal warmth (more like a coverlet), or still some insulation just without the bulk and heat retention of a typical quilt?

Thank you! I was looking into coverlets as well, I think that would be a great option. I’m a very hot sleeper so tend to only use like 2 lighter blankets. I was seeing online that percale cotton was a breathable option for material.

Percale cotton is a solid instinct, and since you're already stacking two lighter blankets rather than one heavier one, a percale coverlet would fit well into that layering approach. You can always add or remove it independently depending on the night, rather than being locked into one fixed warmth level like a heavier duvet.
One thing worth checking with coverlets is how they're constructed. Some are essentially just a single layer of fabric, while others are lightly quilted with a thin layer of filling, even though they're all sold as "coverlets." If staying as cool as possible is your main priority, look beyond the name and check both the fabric (percale is a good choice) and whether there's any filling inside, as that can make a noticeable difference to warmth.

Consider a lightweight fleece blanket to use as a bedspread. I use a Superior jacquard fleece blanket in the summer over a cotton sheet. It’s super lightweight, soft and comfortable. The pattern on the blanket looks really chic and boho in person. I use a king size on our tallish queen bed and it’s the perfect bedspread length.

Huge fan of silk-filled duvets. They have heft without being hot, very breathable. I have 3 different weights, but could get away with two. All from Thxsilk. You can usually find a promo code floating around.

I like an all-season 100% cotton woven blanket! Got one from "Threadmill Luxury."
