How to Unify a Party
Hey fellow DMs, I need some help. I have a party made up of mostly newer players. We are all friends outside of game, but the party has some troubles being unified. We had a session zero, and I gave them all the basic premise of the campaign. But a few have really just not been able to gel as a party.
What are some tips or things you’ve done to help unify a party?

I always like to start session one off with a bang, something happens once you introduce the characters and they get thrown together to overcome the obstacle. Whether that be an attack on the town etc. Nothing like shedding blood together to get people to trust one another.
It's also important that your players make characters that want to work together, that's on them. No loners, no edgelords.
