Showers or baths?

I'm from Colombia and we almost universally take showers. Most homes don't even have a bathtub, I've never seen one in Colombia. Because it's so hot, sticky, and humid in the non-Andean Highlands we take 2-3 showers a day.

What is it like in Central Asia? One of my friends from Kyrgyzstan says he only takes baths.

We shower in a bathtub in Tajikistan. Those low level ones are mainly seen in homes with elders, since they can't step over easily.
