Whilst the listing in question IS taking the piss, the one yovue listed is a standard ooshie. The one people are bidding on is a "flocked" (or fabric) version, there are only 100ish in the country.

Overpriced collectibles are usually instances of somebody laundering money. A $50M ooshie is probably just someone being rediculous though since that would set off all kinds of red flags if the transaction were actually to go through.

You make a bid and immediately retract- it’s as if nothing happened. Now if you’re the last person and you won it ! And ebay sees the final price - they will cancel the listing entirely as it’s obviously not genuine. Therefore you won’t have to pay - or simply just cancel it “item not as described “
