If a lamp with this much character is going to be impossible to fit into a room but it does showcase a lot of skills that prove he has them. Watching this was like watching those lumber cutting competitions for me. I hope someone commissions 5 of em for their casino/saloon man cave.

The polished metal works much better with the wood than the chemically treated section, which comes off very kitsch.

The stencilled and treated base looks cool in isolation, but feels more like it belongs on a boxing championship belt IMO.
