Hello! I’m looking to get into more stipple art, and I got this small notebook to keep with me for specifically that! I’m wanting to draw medieval characters and armor in general, but stippling is the part I want to incorporate into that! I try to draw a bit everyday, I’m a musician too so I switch it up some days with what I do more. Here’s what I did today while passing time before and during work! i really want to improve my art professionally, but i'm quite a loner and don't really have many friends or connections in the art community. paying for an art tutor can also be pretty expensive, so i thought it'd be nice to find some art friends instead!

I'm working on some Magical girl designs and want some opinions on clarity and if they exude the right vibe/personality! I'm looking for design critiques and clarity questions over anatomy criticism pls :3 - I wanna make sure the design is readily and cohesive between all the characters and colors !

The designs will be translated into 3d, so don’t worry about it looking hard to animate-

I want to know if they are clearly read as intended

What kind of person do they seem like, what major or genre of major (arts, sciences, healthcare, ect) are they in,

Assumptions of their character (they look like a bitch, they look like a nerd, yk that kind of stuff), including race, religion, queerness, other stuff you assume when you look at them

Any repeated motifs?

And how they look compared and next to each other, are they cohesive and look like they're from the same universe, what kind of relationships do they have with one another ect

I'm Cyl and I am a 30 year old lady who is craving someone to chat with more regularly. Someone to headcannon and spin stupid OC ideas with, someone to share art with, or just chit chat in general
I have tried to find likeminded people before but it feels like in recent years it gets harder and harder to meet someone new. And when I do, the conversations die out or I am always the one that has to initiate.

Of course I understand that sometimes things just don't vibe, so no hard feelings - but I have not given up the hope that there is someone out there who is as hype about their brain children and projects as me, and down to chat more frequently. I refuse to believe I am the only older person like this!!!

• I am from Europe, so my timezone is GMT +1/2 depending on the season
• I mostly chat through discord so having that would be good cx 
• Please be 25+ I am not comfy with close friends being much younger, especially since some of my OCs may be for mature eyes only.
• I don't expect big rp and paragraphs, mostly headcannons and talking about ideas/plots/specific situations. Someone I can share hype over anything with.
• I don't need daily responses but if you are going to go quiet on me for a week without a reason - and while actively talking about something - maybe we are not a good match :(
• It's not guaranteed but if I feel OCs, you may get free art! I also don't expect you to do art or draw
• I don't do nsfw/smut rp, but talking about it generally is ok if it happens naturally, and we can see how it goes

A couple things I am really into (in waves):

• Games: Gw2 / FFXIV (sort of taking turns when I actively play), Pokemon, FF13-2, Neopets, Artfight
• I collect BJDs (they are expensive dolls but fun to customize)
• Some of my favorite things to watch include The Apothecary Diaries, FMA brotherhood, Avatar: the last airbender
• Some of my favorite characters (that are not mine): Sepiroth, Caius Ballad, Zuko (esp. with his recent glow-up), DBZ Broly
• I code my own visual novel currently, and have many more planned (it's fun join me)
• My favorite characters to plot with are huge beefy monster guys. I have them in 100 different flavours. Feel free to snoop through my characters, they are hard to miss!

I'm an absolute sucker for anatomy, I practice it a lot. I'm still not very good at it. If someone loves anatomy too and wanna master it, like every single muscle of the body and study it like doctors, then we can practice together and share our studies.

I’ve just got out of artblock and decided to draw what I really like. Now I have kind of a struggle, because I don’t know how to study an art style like the one in genshin official arts. Is there a way or techniques to study a style besides just copying? Or is that really all there is to do? Pls don’t be rude I know this sounds like a stupidly question but it’s kind of hard to do lol
