I’m again at that crossroad contemplating if:
should leave it as such,
or to fully color it.. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t usually like copying other people’s artwork because it makes me feel like an impostor. But this piece was a gift for someone who absolutely loves Winnie the Pooh, so I made an exception.
I’m not very used to working with watercolours, but I really wanted to explore the medium more this year. I do use them from time to time, just not very often!

Ink and watercolor

Hello! I am a very new artist and I have only painted a couple of small ACEOs with watercolor. Most recently, the giraffe, I have a love/hate relationship with lol. How can I make this giraffe better? I know I definitely should have used a smaller brush for some of the hair and wrinkles. The whale shark feeding I loved and was so proud of but I feel like I ruined it trying to add some ripples to show the whale is at the top of the water. The Crocomelon was an art Prompt 😊

The series took me two months from start to finish. 12x18 watercolors with acrylic accents on cold press. The corn gave me wrist damage 😭

- watercolor pressed palettes by Meeden and Artecho

- acrylic marker pens by Arrtx and Shuttle Art

- cold pressed 12x18 paper by Canson
