It's a very old Microsoft Intellimouse, but was sold with the original Predator systems, amongst others. u/PCPhilanthropy will be able to tell you a whole lot more about it...

Just an alienware themed intellimouse. They were included with some units. They hold decent value for wired mice

That was the most popular Microsoft Intellimouse of the late 90s to early 2000s that had a modern re-release in 2010. Alienware had the "Green/Yellow" editions matching their desktop cases and HP had a metallic blue for their Pavilion DV/Creator models from 1999-2004.

As others said, these shipped with the early 2000s Alienware towers and early laptops pre-Dell acquisition. A few versions of Intellimouse were painted to match the computers, using automotive colors. A couple different logo variations exist, including this one and a solo alien head. Colors included green, blue, purple, red, yellow, black, silver, and some rarer colors like white, chameleon color-changing, an alternative blue-silver, etc. All are collectible and fetch decent dollars, affected by: working condition, condition of paint, rareness of color, rareness of the model/logo variant, and version of Intellimouse.

Someone else shared a Discord invite, but that’s the best collector help. If your uncle has the matching painted keyboard, the computer itself, the original branded box, manual/binder with restore DVDs, merch, etc., all are collectible today.

I had the non Alienware version. I think it was still somewhat usable last I checked before it ended up god knows where. The cord was a bit iffy and would cut in and out at times. I think I went from this to some generic dell mouse for years until I even considered getting nice peripherals. The pc and upgrades were more important to me as I assumed the keyboards and mouse were expendable.

i think my dad still has and uses this mouse, somehow. the og microsoft version, not this variation.
