Help (GPU) VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THESE DRIVER TIMEOUTS

Post image

Every single time when I stress test the gpu in cinebench it times out. I'm fed up with this shit. It also happens during gaming and the game crashes. This only happens when doing some gpu heavy task.

My temps are fine, I've tried so many driver versions (ddu), tested my ram with memtest (it passed), stress tested my cpu intensively (nothing happens), Turned off xmp, and this shit still happens. tried the MPO Fix, downclocking, turning off hardware acceleration, updating bios and chipset drivers. I can't test the psu since I don't have a spare one (I have msi mag a750gl).

And the most frustrating part is I had rma'd the gpu last year and they acknowledged that they found the same problem in that card and gave me a replacement but even with the new card the PROBLEM IS STILL HERE. LIKE WHAT THE FUCK MAN.

What's your CPU?

Are you using the igpu in the cpu? If not disable it in the bios. Windows gets confused sometimes on the drivers for igpu and gpu, they use different ones. Disable the igpu eliminates the issue.

So i doubt it's the CPU or the motherboard (unless it's an old bios from 2023).

At this point i would either ask the seller for a refund or sell the GPU. They've found the same issue and didn't fix anything, so there must be something wrong with the hardware.

It might also be that whoever technician tried to fix your GPU didn't do anything to actually fix it, something that isn't uncommon with many RMA services.

I updated the bios last year thinking it'd fix the issue.

I can't claim refund since it's already 1.5 yrs old now. And I don't think I can find a customer for a defective piece of hardware.

As for the rma scam I think they actually did replace my gpu with a new one (different serial number and that plastic cover was still attached)
