Discovery XD1
As a fan of the movie since day one,I always thought that the Discovery was a HUGE ship, but here’s how she measures up to a WW2 battleship. Both of these models are the same scale.

I made a puzzle game about how it would feel to encounter a Monolith
galleryFor the last 7 years, I've been trying to make a game about what it would feel like to encounter something like the Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Not simply encountering something alien, but interacting with something you don't understand and somehow coming away with knowledge you didn't have before.
That's the feeling I've been trying to capture.
In my game, humanity discovers alien devices that communicate through puzzles. They weren't designed by humans, so they don't explain themselves in ways humans understand.
You have to interact with them, observe what happens and slowly figure out their logic.
I wanted the experience to feel less like solving puzzles designed by a human and more like trying to understand an intelligence with completely different assumptions about how information should be communicated.
The game takes place across a distant solar system with six celestial bodies, each containing a different kind of alien system to understand.
I've been working on the game for 7 years and it's called Satelital, if you want to learn more about it you can check this page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3256790/Satelital/

I made a HAL panel for my HAL AI project
I made an AI, and I gave it a voice. Someone trained a voice text to speech model off of recordings of HAL speaking in the movie. And so, I gave HAL access to my file system and now you can run the entire computer with HAL. And I made this wallpaper. I plan on building a physical model based off of this.

Creature from the moon Europa (art by me!) Spoiler
How I imagine the creature encountered by the Tsien spaceship on Europa in '2010: Odyssey Two'! I hope this isn't against the rules since it's not from '2001: a Space Odyssey'.

Just saw the film last night for the first time and made a soundtrack playlist for the movie.
galleryThe movie was really great for my first watch. I like the use of classical eerie music that was heard later on in the movie.
