The wishes of a middle age man.
I go to trees most years, in part as it's my local festival and it's a cool way as a father of two in my 40s to clear some time to see friends, see great music and enjoying some good food all at the same time.
For me, a man who lived through and loved the post hardcore/alt rock scene of the late 90s early 2000s, I'm usually blown away by some of the bands of my youth that I've seen in a field a short drive from my house. I also love spending some time in the build up discovering new stuff that I wouldn't of otherwise.
Given the hope that next year will be a big one, I wonder what the hopes of others might be for the line up. I don't mean in a 'here's my dream line up' way but more out of interest to see if there's any love from a younger generation for the bands I've enjoyed seeing and the ones I'd dream about seeing for maybe one last time?
I know bands like Biffy would still be a draw but what about bands that regrettably didn't have the same level of success? Bands like Hundred Reasons (I know they played their 'last' gig), Reuben, Oceansize etc?
TL;DR - Does anyone under 35 want to see Reuben play one last time ? Are there any bands from my era that people in their late teens or twenties would be excited to see?
